Region-focused Americana Restaurants records revenue growth at over SAR 5bn in H1-26

Americana Restaurants International, the largest out-of-home dining and quick service restaurant operator in MENA and Kazakhstan, reported a net profit of SAR 552.08 million during the first half (H1) of 2026.

The positive half-year result represented a 59.19% increase compared to SAR 346.81 million in H1-25, according to a bourse filing.

The cross-listed company attributed the profit growth to a 12.12% rise in revenue, which reached SAR 5.12 billion on the back of a 6.3% increase in like-for-like sales and continued restaurant network expansion.

Free cash flow for the period rose by 44.5% to $160 million, with a cash conversion rate of 70%.

Meanwhile, the total portfolio of Americana Restaurants reached 2,746 restaurants by the end of the period.

Looking ahead, the company expects to add between 120 and 130 net new stores by the end of 2026.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, Americana Restaurants achieved a net profit of SAR 315.15 million, surging 40.46% from SAR 224.37 million in the prior-year quarter.

Quarterly revenue rose by 11.06% to SAR 2.68 billion. Meanwhile, management cited effective cost controls and operational leverage as key drivers for the margin expansion.

The financial results for the January-June 2026 period were discussed during a meeting held on 28 July.

The board members, meanwhile, approved an interim cash dividend of $100.80 million, equivalent to $0.012 per share, for the period ended on 30 June 2026.

In Q1-26, the regional restaurant operator delivered double-digit growth across revenue, EBITDA, and net profits.
