Delta Insurance’s EGM nods for EGP 50M capital increase

The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Delta Insurance approved the board’s proposal to increase the issued capital to EGP 550 million from EGP 500 million, according to a bourse statement.

The insurance firm will raise its capital by EGP 50 million through the issuance of bonus shares, distributed over 12.5 million shares, at a nominal value of EGP 4 per share.

The capital increase will be financed from the company’s net profits by 10% per share as per its financial position for the period ended December 31st, 2024.

In October 2025, Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding (EKH) decided to sell the entire 63.39% stake in Delta Insurance.
