Egypt’s NIR reaches $52.745bln end-February: CBE

Egypt's net international reserves (NIR) jumped to $52.745 billion at the end of February 2026, according to the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) data.

The foreign reserves consist of a diversified portfolio of major international currencies, gold, and the special drawing rights (SDRs) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
