Prices of basic food commodities, vegetables drop on July 5

Prices of basic food commodities and vegetables declined on Sunday, July 5 th, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

The packaged sugar amounted to EGP 33 per kilogram, down 8.7% on a daily basis.

Likewise, the price of packaged flour dropped by 8.4% to EGP 25.7 per kilogram.

As for vegetables, the price of a kilogram of tomatoes fell by 15.6% to EGP 22.6, while the price of potatoes retreated by 1.1% to EGP 17.3 per kilogram.
