· Egyptian market news

The operations committee of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has set the opening price for the rights issue of Tawasoa Factoring at EGP 3.45 per right on the first day of trading.
The price limits per right will be calculated based on the price fluctuation range available for the company’s original share during the trading session, according to a bourse filing.
The closing price of the original share will be set separately and fixed at EGP 150,000 throughout the rights trading period from 30 March to 14 April 2026.
Meanwhile, the closing price of the subscription right will also be set separately at EGP 82,273.45 per right.
On the other hand, the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) said it has no initial objection to the company’s invitation to existing shareholders to subscribe to a capital increase.
The subscription comprises 40 million shares at a nominal value of EGP 1 per share.
Following the EGP 40 million hike, Tawasoa’s issued and paid-up capital will rise to EGP 115 million from EGP 75 million.
