· Egyptian market news

Saudi Top for Trading Company announced its interim financial results for the six-month period ended on 30 June 2026, reporting a 33.18% decline in net profit.
The earnings fell to SAR 3.55 million in the first half (H1) of 2026 from SAR 5.31 million in H1-25, according to a bourse filing.
Earnings per share (EPS) decreased to SAR 0.09 in H1-26 from SAR 0.13 in H1-25.
Saudi Top for Trading attributed the performance decline to an 8.3% drop in average selling prices and a 5% decrease in quantities sold, citing regional geopolitical circumstances.
Total revenue for the 2026 period reached SAR 81.83 million, representing a 12.76% decrease compared to SAR 93.81 million in the prior-year period.
Profitability was further pressured by a 52% surge in sea freight costs for export customers, also linked to regional instability.
Despite these challenges, Saudi Top for Trading noted it maintained consistent gross profit levels.
Total equity, excluding non-controlling interests, rose by 5.74% to SAR 75.67 million in H1-26 from SAR 71.56 million in H1-25.
It is worth noting that the independent auditor’s report was issued with an unmodified opinion.
