Americana Restaurants sees 60.5% higher profits in 9M-26

The board of Americana Restaurants International registered Net profits totaling SAR 814.40 million for the first nine months (9M) of 2026, representing a 60.41% increase from SAR 507.71 million.
The company attributed the growth to a 12.89% rise in revenue, which reached SAR 7.79 billion, supported by 7% like-for-like sales growth and the expansion of its restaurant network.
For the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, net profit rose by 63.03% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 262.32 million from SAR 160.91 million. The revenue increased by 14.39% to SAR 2.67 billion, bolstered by 8.60% like-for-like sales growth.
However, net profit declined by 16.76% compared to the previous quarter of 2026, as geopolitical conditions impacted on input costs and inventory, alongside higher seasonal utility expenses during the summer months.
The company expanded its portfolio to 2,769 restaurants by the end of September 2026, adding a net total of 112 sites over the previous twelve months.
Americana Restaurants also signed an exclusive agreement to launch the Taco Bell brand in the UAE. Management expects to add between 120 and 130 new restaurants by year-end.
