EGX-listed companies, banks propose cash dividends for 2025

Four listed companies and banks on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) have proposed cash dividends for 2025, offering shareholder return on capital to the eligible shareholders.

All proposed dividends, yet, remain subject to the approval of the banks' and companies’ ordinary general meetings.

HD Bank

Housing and Development Bank (HD Bank) recommended the highest dividend of EGP 8 per share, backed by a strong 50.30% year-on-year (YoY) surge in consolidated annual profits that exceeded EGP 18.70 billion.

SAIB

Meanwhile, the board of Société Arabe Internationale de Banque (SAIB) proposed a dividend of $0.50 per share, equivalent to 5% of its capital, for 2025.

This comes despite a 12.30% YoY decline in SAIB’s net profits to $30.10 million in 2025.

Egyptians for Housing

Egyptians for Housing and Development Company proposed a dividend of EGP 0.10 per share, representing 20% of its nominal value.

The board’s recommendation followed a 13.60% YoY increase in the real estate developer’s 2025 net profits to EGP 74.19 million.

Odin Investments

Similarly, Odin Investments recommended distributing EGP 0.07 per share, accounting for 30% of its capital, despite a decline in consolidated profits to EGP 137.08 million from EGP 186.38 million in 2024.
