Emirates NBD Egypt has launched the Business Prime account to meet the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and new business clients, according to a press release.
The account offers a tiered return structure, enabling businesses to manage their cash flow flexibly by integrating competitive returns with a range of operational benefits that support their growth and expansion.
The launch aligns with the lender’s strategy to provide advanced banking solutions that drive economic growth and promote financial inclusion.
Business Prime features daily interest calculation and crediting, with a tiered interest system that increases returns as account balances grow. The account is available in Egyptian pound (EGP) with a minimum opening balance of EGP 150,000.
Moreover, the customers can benefit from a comprehensive package of value-added services, including a full waiver of account opening and maintenance fees, as well as discounts of up to 50% on selected banking services.
The benefits extend to account statement fees, checkbook issuance, EGP transfers through the bank's businessONLINE platform, corporate payment services (CPS) transactions, and check collection services.
Emirates NBD Egypt will also issue its first corporate debit and credit cards free of charge, alongside a dedicated relationship manager to facilitate day-to-day banking needs and provide priority service.
This step reflects Emirates NBD Egypt's commitment to its expansion strategy, which aims to lead the digital banking transformation landscape and meet the evolving needs of the business community.
The lender generated a net profit of EGP 1.7 billion by the end of March 2026, an annual growth of 22% from EGP 1.4 billion.
