Dollar rises further against Egyptian pound, trades above EGP 52

The US dollar rose further against the Egyptian pound at major local banks on Wednesday, September 16, with the greenback trading above EGP 52 for both buying and selling.
By 10:59 am, the dollar was quoted at EGP 52.11 for buying and EGP 52.21 for selling at Banque Misr.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the USD was trading at EGP 52.09 for buying and EGP 52.19 for selling.
The dollar was priced at EGP 52.10 for buying and EGP 52.20 for selling at the Commercial International Bank (CIB), while the United Bank quoted it at EGP 52.05 for buying and EGP 52.15 for selling.
The latest rates come a day after the dollar crossed the EGP 52 mark at local banks.
