Egyptian Cabinet extends Sunday remote work throughout July 2026

The Egyptian Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, approved extending the remote work system on Sundays throughout July 2026, as per a statement.

This marks the fourth consecutive month of applying the work-from-home policy, which was first introduced last April as part of a government energy-saving plan to optimize consumption amid a surge in global oil prices resulting from the Israel-Iran war.
