The Egyptian Exchange to suspend trading on July 2

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) will halt its operations next Thursday, July 2 nd, in celebration of the anniversary of June 30 Revolution, instead of Tuesday, June 30 th.
Trading will be resumed on Sunday, July 5 th, 2026.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced July 2 nd as an official paid holiday to employees across ministries, government entities, public authorities, local administration units, public-sector companies, and public business sector companies.
