Valu's consolidated profit climbs 42.7% YoY in H1 2026

U Consumer Finance (Valu) recorded a 42.75% year-on-year (YoY) surge in consolidated net profit attributable to the holding company for the first half (H1) of 2026, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 10.
The company’s consolidated net profit attributable to the holding company reached EGP 486.083 million in the six-month period ended June 30, compared to EGP 340.504 million in the year-ago period.
The company also generated consolidated operating revenues of EGP 1.821 billion in the January-June period of 2026, up from EGP 1.565 billion in the same period of 2025.
At the level of the standalone financial statement, Valu posted EGP 409.371 million in net profit after tax for H1 2026, up from EGP 290.068 million in the same period of 2025.
