Valu, IKEA Egypt renew exclusive payment partnership for 2 years

Financial technology company Valu and home furnishings retailer IKEA Egypt have renewed their partnership for another two years, with Valu becoming the retailer’s exclusive flexible payment provider for the first time, as per an emailed press release.

Under the agreement, IKEA Egypt customers can purchase products with 0% interest, no purchase fees, and no down payment over periods of up to 15 months.

The payment options will remain available across the retailer’s online and physical sales channels throughout the partnership term.

By offering 0% interest and no upfront costs for 15 months, we are not just providing credit; we are enabling Egyptian families to build the homes they dream of without financial strain," Dina Shalaby, Head of Growth at Valu, said.
