Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (MCDR) is the entity that holds EGX-listed securities in electronic (dematerialized) form, clears and settles trades, and maintains the central registry of ownership. It issues the Unified Investor Code and is the infrastructure that makes electronic share ownership and T+2 settlement possible in Egypt.
