Saudi Telecom Company (stc) and the King Salman Center for Disability Research (KSCDR) have signed a strategic agreement for the 7th International Conference on Disability and Rehabilitation, scheduled to take place in Riyadh from 11 to 13 October 2026.
Under the agreement, stc will serve as a strategic sponsor of the international conference, which will bring together researchers, specialists, innovators, and representatives of international organizations to exchange knowledge and highlight the latest developments in disability research, healthcare, and rehabilitation.
The sponsorship reflects the group’s continued partnership with KSCDR and its commitment to supporting the nonprofit sector, empowering persons with disabilities, and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving their quality of life.
It also underscores the company’s support for research and scientific efforts focused on disability and rehabilitation, in line with its broader social responsibility initiatives.
The partnership builds on stc’s participation in the sixth edition of the conference in 2022, continuing its longstanding collaboration with KSCDR to advance disability research and promote knowledge sharing in the field.
On a separate note, stc and US-based Astranis teamed up to deploy a dedicated satellite serving Saudi Arabia.
